Directing muddy stormwater releases from site to the creek fails to prevent road flooding!

Key takeaways:

• fifth time construction site stormwater pollutants and debris flowed into creek and partly blocked roads in 53 days.

• Another Council and Carruthers site monitoring fail. Council only found out when neighbour rang council's after hours hotline.

• clean up occurred on Boxing Day.

The first photo on the right (below on mobile) shows rainfall of 56mm in under an hour. Other photos and linked videos show the aftermath of the storm which was a polluted creek and more filth on the road as usual.

Photos show the Dianella Court and Viola Place area after approx 56 mm of rain in under an hour. Again, not an unusual event - the fifth in 53 days.
